Our lawyers have registered office of foreign company for doing business in Ukraine

In the middle of 2013 a foreign corporation contacted our law office in Ukraine in order for our attorneys to support its entry onto Ukrainian market.

During the first stage of cooperation we:

  • provided legal advices in regard to the most optimal organizational form for doing business in Ukraine;
  • analyzed all the known forms, described their advantages and disadvantages that would be relative in our client’s situation.

While advising the client we explained that the best form for entry on Ukrainian market was registration of representative office of foreign company.

During organization and conduction of registration of branch office our lawyers:

  • made sure that all the documents were drawn up in a proper manner;
  • advised the client in regard to issues that came up during registration. In particular, we provided legal advices concerning requirements of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine that were set for confirmation of information required for registration;
  • fully represented client at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. In particular, we submitted all the required documents to the Ministry, supervised consideration of application and got bill for payment of the official state fee, obtained certificate from a bank confirming transfer of funds with its further filing with the Ministry, received representative office registration certificate based on letter of attorney from the client.

As the result, our client got all the necessary information which helped him to make decision concerning the best option of entry onto Ukrainian market. Also, our participation allowed the client to save time spent for formal procedures which, among other things, included the registration itself.
